WHY IS DIFFERENT TO EAT GROVE MADE AREPAS?

I can say a different way to eat our Arepas is because we use 100% natural hominy corn, we don’t mix or add artificial ingredients to conserve the arepas, we do not add flours to make more arepas. We boil the corn to get the perfect softens in order to ground, mix, weight and make the arepas, after all of that we freeze the, which for a lot people out there think that freezing the food sometimes is bad a looses nutrients, on the other hand some other people say that si its good cause it bring the glucose down and also it preserves the products, so in this last 4 years on making arepas I can tell you that freezing them, keeps them fresh, easy to use, practical and also you won’t loose your arepa going moldy and hard in your refrigerator. For the same factor like the Yuca roots arepas, and Plantain palm, we use the same process, only for the plantain which is very tricky since the plantain gets ripe very soon, we need to know the exact time to cook it, if it gets too soft, we unfortunately have to add corn flour, in order to have a good texture to mold the arepa, other wise it will super hard to make the arepa with a soft product. But it can change all the time, if we get the plantain in the perfect time, we won’t use corn flour, but even if we get to use, the corn flour we use is gluten free, beside that because plantain by nature are usually sweet, we don’t add additional sugars. so for sure you are eating a good Arepa, fresh and healthy!!
